Too many screen names/passwords

over the years all myscreen names/passwords for  msn,aim,yahoo,aol, myspace and so on, have gotten mixed up and i can only remember 1, hell i has to reset my password here just now cause i couldn't remember. What truly saddens me is i cant remember my photobucket into and i had all my best stuff in there 



anyone else have the problem of having to remember +15 different names/passwords? how do you keep them straight?

YES....absolutely drives me nuts!

I have actually had to start writing down my ID's and passwords to keep them all straight. And then internet security experts say that one needs to change their password on a regular basis...ARE THEY NUTS!

Don't read actual security stuff, you'll end up wanting to do far worse than change your passwords!  (It's distressingly easy to get into a lot of things if someone actually wants to...)

I write 'em all down on a giant piece of thick paper I keep with my laptop.  I figure if anyone is physically AT my laptop to read them that I don't trust, I have a bigger security issue than a card of passwords.

Not really. I usually just use a single password/screen name for most of my accounts.

I usually just use Momonga or ZinkyMomo as my screen name and rotate through a few passwords, so I only have a few combinations to try when I forget. Not the most secure (especially since most are saved on my computer anyway) but at least I can log back into sites after extended absences.

My only problem is when I go back to uni at the start of the semester and can't remember what my password was, because I get locked out after a few tries and have to bug the tech guys to unlock me and reset my password. Happens every year D:

I have all my passwords and stuff written on a sheet of page. Funny thing, tho. Some of those passwords are for accounts I no longer use anymore. XD I probably need to update my list which is pretty old.

I've got 21 passwords  (some i use on more than 1 site ) so i have them on a piece of paper also.
I've still forgotten them several times though.

I always save mine in a notepad document on a USB flash drive for easy excess on multiple computers.

I normally use XIII, Ziahawk, Krazy-ac3 or Ac3 and password wise i have about 13 different ones I randomly chose from.

my Sn's usually always the same. Wind21 or Liquidxdreams. With the occasional new one, ie Lycanth991 and stuff.
As for passwords, mines the same for every account so remebering isnt a problem

Actually I came up with a solution for this problem. I created a 'password file' which I store on one of those crappy 8 or 16 meg flash cards that come with digital cameras when you buy them, and then end up replacing them because they're useless. So its basically just an HTML page with a massive table..

Its really useful. And storing something like that off your computer isn't a terrible idea either. I know some people will put them in a .doc file like "mom's pierogi recepie.doc" or whatever, I just took it off the computer all together :p

I possess many pseudonyms that I hide behind, especially this forum from so so long ago. The secret is broccoli. The password I've had for this forum all along. ;)

That and back then, I've had trouble spelling that damned word 'broccoli'. What an obscure vegetable it is. Looks like a mini green tree.
